My coupon binder :)

I finally broke down and got WAY more organized with my coupon binder. I had one of those tiny acordian ones and it just wasn't cutting it. Then I used ziplock bags and envelopes. Finally I have something that WORKS awesome (I used it at Walgreen's today in fact). I was working on it while Tristan was in karate, all of the other moms were in aww...I had my label maker and everything. Well, probably 6 hard hours later she is done. (I think I may need a LARGER binder in the REALLY near future) But it is nice to be so organized. Tristan made me a label that says "mamma's coupons" how sweet....I really think he just wanted to play with the label maker though...lol

I made little label tabs for the sides to help me be more organized. Hopefully Kmart will be a breeze with this little tool :D

  1. I wouldn't go with a larger binder but rather a second binder. Have one be food items/grocery store items and the second be personal care and meds/drug store items. Just my opinion though.

I can't tell, did you opt for catagories or alphabetical?

  2. No, no, you're not going to get a purse, you are going to do it the way that I do, and tote your reuseable bags and binders in another reuseable bag. No there isn't any glamour in it, but it is roomy and then you don't forget to bring the reuseables.

  3. Are you putting one coupon per pocket? Or what is your system? It's funny I'm in the middle of making my own binder. I agree the accordian organizers are just not enough. I opted for photo pages with three 4x6 pockets per page. I am being more specific with my categories but still grouping coupons together for instance I have a category of coupons that is for Baby. Within baby I made a pocket for each one of these: Diapers, Wipes, Bath & Body, Formula & Foods, Store, and Misc. (Store is for the 15% off coupons for BabiesRUs etc.) Just arrived by UPS today was the Brother label maker I ordered from newegg.com for only $9.99 no tax, no shipping! It normally goes for $29.99 but is factory reconditioned and in perfectly good shape. Love it! I am also hole-punching my store circulars and snapping them into the binder along with my shopping list and my reference list for Upromise products. Happy couponing!

  4. Hi Kristen,
I am using each pocket for each specific brand. I used baseball card sleeves and LET me tell you I filled those puppies FAST! I think out of 50 I have 2 empty ones left...lol...I adore my Brother label maker! It is truly one of the best things I have ever purchased! For categories I made cleaning, diapering, frozen, canned, breakfast, kid stuff, one special for my hubbys stuff, bath and body, medicine. Stuff like that. I have used it 2 days now and LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I should have started with this! Photo pages are a great idea too~! I'd love to see yours when it is done :D
