Wal-mart 4/8

I had to pick up a few things for my mom and forgot somethings when I went in my trip. I wanted to grab some Green Giant Veggies and my free Frank's red hot sauce. I spend $7.96 and got a TON of stuff!!

10 Frank's red Hot Sauce (FREE)Coupon was for a free bottle
1 Nononsense Nylons (FREE)$1 manuf cpn
9 bags of Green Giant steamed veggies ($0.66 each) used $0.50/1 and $0.50/2 cpns
1 Duncan Hinz Cake mix ($0.61) used $0.35/1 manuf cpn
1 McCormick Taco seasoning (FREE plus overage)
2 Toaster Pastries ($0.98 each) used $1 IP cpn)

I gave my mom 2 bottles of the Hot sauce because she likes it a lot, but I will try to see if I have time tomorrow to get a picture together. As I will be pretty busy all day with Tristan's karate and we are having a guy come and do the windows and siding. So we will have to see how that pans out... :)

Wal-mart I saved $100!

I had a GREAT shopping trip to Wal-Mart. After I realized how EASY it was to price match I scored a WHOLE bunch of stuff including most of my son's Christmas stuff that I needed to finish up on. I had them price match the Downy (which is on sale for $2.98 at Menards) and the Tag Reader books (which are on sale at both Kmart and Toys-r-Us for $9.99) I think there is only 1 book I don't have now...lol....

Any who...here is what I all got. I had to take 2 pics, because after I put away everything I realized I forgot to add some items in the picture. Where my mind is today I dunno... :)

Here is what I got:

2 Knox Gelatin (FREE plus overage)
2 Clean n Clear Face wash ($0.64 each)
2 A1 Steak Sauce ($0.56 each)
1 McCormick Chili Seasoning (FREE)
2 Heinz Vinegars ($0.50 each)
6 Bags of Riceworks (FREE)
10 TAG Reader Books ($4.99 each)
4 2-packs of Oil Of Olay Soap ($0.48 each)
1 Nononsense Nylons (FREE)
2 Vitamin Waters (FREE)
1 TAG Activity Cards ($3 on clearance)
3 Downy Fabric Softener ($2.73 each)

I spent $54.81 with tax! Most of it was the TAG books alone! I saved $100!! I was so excited, my little sister was pretty impressed (she came with me) and the 2 ladies behind me thought it was a pretty good haul also. I was proud to get such a great deal. And to top it off you can keep ROLLING the nylon deal as there are $1 off coupons in the $1 packages!! YAY!!

Target 4/6/09

So I went to Target today, the first time since my horrible coupon ordeal. This time I went prepared with my email from Target Corp. in tow. I scoped out the friendlist cashier and proceeded to checkout. She did question the coupon for the fruit snacks, but I did tell her since it did not specifically state a size that it could be use for any. I also did point out (thanks to my email) that these then had to be price adjusted (since they would not give me overage, but hey FREE is FREE right!) So I did make a decent score, here is what I got:

• 1 TAG reader system reg $49.99 on sale $39 (used $10 IP cpn) pd $29

• 9 bags fruit snacks $0.89 ($1 Target) FREE
• 4 Johnson Buddies Soaps $0.97 (2 $2/2 IP cpn) FREE
• 1 Johnson's baby q-tips $1.29 (used $1 Target cpn & $1 manuf cpn) FREE
• 2 Eggos Waffles $1.89 & $1.99 (used 2 $0.75 manuf cpn & $1/2 Target cpn) $0.69 EACH
• 3 Nature's Source All purpose cleaners $3.19 ($1 manuf cpn & $1 Target Cpn) $1.19 each

My total was only $39.81 that is LESS than the price of the reader with tax!!! YAY ME~

P.S. and Target was REALLY friendly this time, note to self go only during daytime hours as the nighttime people are cranky! lol

Will post a pic soon! :)
