My stockpile, well atleast some of it...lol

Well since I have scored so many great deals I thought that I would just post a few pics of what I have accumulated since I have started this great adventure. There is a LOT more and I will add as I go. I LOVED the Huggies coupons since diapers are sooooo expensive. My son's both have eczema, the baby more so than the older one and cheaper diapers seem to really irritate his skin even more. I stocked up as much as I could getting friends and family to print me the Huggies coupons in exchange for ones they needed. Hoepfully I have enough til he hits pull ups...lol Diapers alone eat up a good chunk of your budget. Now I can put that money into the bank and save it for a rainy day...YAY!

Coupons....

These are by FAR (to me) one of the greatest things EVER! They have helped me save my family LOTS and LOTS of money. If you haven't started couponing I totally recommend giving it a whirl. That little bit of time can really pay off and make such a difference. Especially with how things in the economy are today. It is a GREAT feeling being able to have extra money to be able to put aside just incase and still have all of the necessities that you need to run your household successfully. There are MANY great places to find coupons. I print A LOT of my coupons on the internet. From signing up to receive emails directly from the company to going to coupon specific sites. Here are a few other great places to find coupons...
  • NEWSPAPERS
  • STORE ADS (these are great because you can pair them up with manufacture coupons)
  • PRODUCTS YOU PURCHASE
  • FRIENDS, FAMILY AND NEIGHBORS
  • EBAY!! ( I buy many of my coupons on ebay, yes it may seem silly, but if I know a specific item is going on sale and that I use that item a lot I buy that coupon in bulk)
  • IN THE MAIL (Again by signing up for certain things you can receive many coupons in the mail)
There are other places but those are just the ones that I use frequently. Know somewhere else to score a GREAT coupon, let me know! I'll be happy to share it!!

Target

I did pay $32.68 for all of these items but I do believe that I definately got my money's worth! I saved over $100! I got 12 Johnson's Buddies Soaps, 2 Spiderman placemats for the boys, a Spiderman book and activity book, again for the boys, 5 boxes of Quaker granola bars (which got me a $5 gift card!) 6 Gillette shampoo/body washes, 2 Febreeze candles, 1 pledge multi-surface, 6 bags of IAMS Smart Puppy food, 10 bags of Cheetos, 2 packs of Huggies Gentle Care wet wipe refills, 1 fruit roll-ups, 1 Stickers snacks, 1 pack of Hefty plates, 1 Pledge Pet Sweeper, 2 Head and Shoulders Trial size bottles and 1 bag of Hershey's Bliss...not too bad for a quick shopping trip with the boys~!

Walgreens

I received ALL 4 boxes of these Glucerna cereals for FREE! I took 2 $10 off Glucerna coupons (valid on 2 boxes of cereal or various Glucerna items) and used them at Walgreens. As they have a GREAT register rewards deal. I did have to do 2 separate transactions, as the register beeped since the coupon states one coupon per transaction, but I did get a register rewards for $2.50 each time for a total of $5.00!! PLUS I can send the receipt into the Caregivers Marketplace and receive $1 back for each box!! AWESOME!!

RECEIPTS

At first I know that couponing can be overwhelming. But once you sort of figure it out you think, "GEEZ...why didn't I start this sooner!" I mean all of the things that you can get for your family for little to nothing is simply AMAZING! I love being able to show my husband, mom and friends all of the GREAT things that I have scored! It is such a rush!!! Sometimes I aquire more than I need or can use so I give them away to friends, family and others that need them. As I have come to learn that many times you need to get some items in order to get the items that you really NEED for little to nothing. All part of the couponing game. :D It feels great being able to share these things with others. I just wanted to show everyone that YOU too can also be a "newbie" like me and come away with a great deal! I have shown some of my best yet receipts from various stores in hopes to inspire those who think that it is too hard, too much work or maybe not worth it. Many of these receipts shown from Walgreens also earned me Register Rewards (a coupon with a certain value amount to be used on your next transaction.) If anyone has any that they would like to share I would LOVE to see them!

DEALS!!!

So I am sure that many of you would like to know where I find all of these great SCORES, well check out my favorite blogs to find some GREAT internet printables, store by store deals and all around WONDERFUL advice.
