Today I went to Walgreen's to see if I could "roll" the John Freida deal since I had 21 coupons left that I wanted to see if I could use up. Well I am HAPPY to say that it worked like a charm!! I shared some with my brother and he was able to get some as well...and the sweet guy even bought me a present with some of his RR...awwww....I did also take advantage of the Coke deal that they had and got 8 12 pks. for only $8.86 TAX INCLUDED! I did use some Coke coupons and also some RR and I still have $6 RR left for next week. So I am pleased.

Kmart is doubling again!!

Kmart will be doubling AGAIN 7/5-7/11! Yay!! It says that it will be a limit of 10 coupons again BUT I know that I did actually use a couple more (not on purpose) and they still doubled. Some other people told me that they went over as well. Also this time your total has to be $25 BEFORE coupons. Which is not too hard since Kmart has higher prices. They are still running the promotion

My mudder's 50th birthday...

So my mom turns the BIG 50 this year, August 21st to be exact. I would REALLY like to throw her a surprise party. Here's the thing...she really doesn't like to go a lot of places. So this is what I was thinking...IF by chance we get our house and close in time THEN we could say we were having a house warming party. BUT I still think it would be really hard to get her there. If anyone has any ideas how I could go about getting her there than please by all means share. As I would really really like to do this for her :D

I also got a raincheck for some more Marcal, now that Pick n Save finally has this item and there was only one left. I plan on getting more before my coupons expire!

I have been lacking on taking the "deal" pics lately as the batteries in the camera need to be recharged and I have been so consumed with all of the house buying activities! Father's Day

So.....as I was pondering what in the world I could get my dear hubsand for Father's Day without breaking the bank (since we are on a REALLY tight budget due to the new home buying venture) he came in the room and goes "oooohhhh look at these" and handed me a Kmart flyer. It was a nice pair of sandals on sale half off. Since I had a $14 catilina I figured "GREAT!" Then to my udder surprise....A GIFT CARD from Kmart came in the mail from the Glamour promotion! Was it fate? I think so! I swung by Kmart and picked up the sandals and some Purex 3-n-1 cloths for a meer $0.59! LOVE it!! Thank you Kmart!!
Oh and I had the card covered from the FREE Hallmark create a card!

John Freida deal!

Another great deal I picked up this week(actually John Freida hair care products on sale this week at Walgreen's 3/$15 and you get a $5 RR...well this last weeks paper had $3 off the Root Awakening line (which I recently tried since my friend received it for her Bzz campaign :) I like John Freida products and for $1 for ALL 3 how can you beat that!!?!?

My local Walgreen's has the BEST manager and cosmetic counter girl! I did 13 transactions yesterday! They were OVERLY excited because they are trying to get a lot of sales at the cosmetic counter for some contest...so I am their favorite! Works for me!! And the manager even said they don't care because they get paid for the coupons so if you can work the system work it! There are plenty of RR for next week and I got lots of goodies this week...my brother and I pooled all of our items together and then split them up...

Pull Ups Coupon/Deal

Next week Target has a great deal going on with Pull Ups! They are on sale for $8.99 each and when you purchase 3 packs you get a $5 gift card. If you go here you can print off $3 coupons for the pull ups. BUT if you have the $5 off mailer coupon then you will get a REALLY sweet deal.
The best part with Target is that you can keep on rolling the deal for as many coupons as you have!! A GREAT time to stock up on something that is normally so pricey!!

June 10th and 11th

Walgreen's has another $5 off $25 coupon out there...valid June 10th and 11th only. This discount will be take AFTER all other discounts have been taken. So a good idea is to get items that will get you register rewards to maximize savings.

Many of the Kraft coupons expire today and tomorrow (from the first batch) and Pick n Save has some great pair ups as does Piggly Wiggly. The only bummer about Piggly Wiggly is that they only let you do 2 IP coupon at a time (or so I have been told by many) I frequent Pick n Save especially tomorrow for Double Coupons. I love to maximize my savings and use up what I can get a good bargain on with the Kraft coupons.

Yum Yum and More Yum

I am soooo excited my mom said that she was going to make a rhubarb pie for me!!! I LOVE rhubarb pie...and for some weird reason I don't think that I have had it in almost 10 years....gasp!

Here is a REALLY good recipe from All Recipes.com:

Ingredients:

4 cups chopped rhubarb 1 1/3 cups white sugar 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon butter 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie

Directions:

1.	Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
2.	Combine sugar and flour. Sprinkle 1/4 of it over pastry in pie plate. Heap rhubarb over this mixture. Sprinkle with remaining sugar and flour. Dot with small pieces of butter. Cover with top crust.
3.	Place pie on lowest rack in oven. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and continue baking for 40 to 45 minutes. Serve warm or cold.
