The perfume apparently has a $6 shipping charge but the other 2 are absolutely FREE! This New Year's Eve we are sitting home as hubby prepares his power point for his possible promotion. I made some good eats and maybe we will have a margarita later closer to midnight. Next up...Tristan's invitations...

So you may ask yourself why in the blue blazes am I up this late?? Well I have been making Tristan's birthday party invitations. I SHOULD have been done quite some time ago...BUT me and the printer have been duking it out!

See awhile back a paper got stuck in the printer and there was a wrestling match to get the sheet of paper out. I eventually won and the printer had received a battle wound. The little piece that feeds the paper into the printer snapped off....LUCKY ME....ugh

So being the cheap...uh hum...frugal person that I am I waited for a sale. Black Friday came around (mind you that the printer has been broke since late May) and I found one. I bought it, but good ol Bessie still has some ink left so I am riding it out until the ink is gone.

I have lost quite a few coupons due to this since you can only print coupons so many times and I have to hand feed the paper into the printer. This doesn't always turn out for the best. Hence the reason that I am still up...just when I thought the printer was going to win this battle I figured out a great little trick...to start feeding the papers BEFORE the one printing comes out. So alas I am DONE.


I fought the printer and I won....hee hee

Yesteday....

The past few days have been super busy and action packed! To top it off my baby turned 2 years old yesterday. It was great to spend time with family and close friends. Let's just say now that we own stock in toys r us! I definately have to go through the boys old toys and donate A LOT! Especially since the older one's birthday is coming up pretty quick at the end of January...

Next week is hubby birthday and then mine...EEEEEKKK! I will be turning the BIG 30!!! So I decided (with a lil help from my lil sister that I will now be referred to as 29 + 1...it just sounds better don't ya think??)

So I have decided

I love love love Halloween...we dress up every year and have a party with lots of yummy fun Halloween themed food and treats. Last year I was Harley Quinn (That is the Joker's self proclaimed girlfriend) It was fitting since hubby was the Joker. Might I add that I did an AWESOME job on his costume as well as Tristan's (he was Mario...he won first place at the costume contest at the mall...)

So, as I was pondering what I should be this year.....it HIT me.....Cheetara!!! Oh yeah! From the Thundercats...I used to LOVE that show!...I am super stoked to make this costume! I'll be sure to post pics once I have it all done and together...YAY Halloween!

OMG! I am sooooooo happy with my Target shopping trip this morning. I decided to swing on by after I dropped Tristan off for school and pick up a few things. There were only out of the Kashi cereal which was a bummer, but hey I will try again for that another day.

Tristan LOVES school!

Well it's offical...my baby went off to school...sniff...sniff...he even tells me now that I don't have to walk him in anymore so it's "easier" for me...oh the heart ache! The first day he didn't even acknowledge that I was there, just zoomed off to play with his new friends. I do like the school though. There are only 6 kids total in his class (he goes to a private school) and I think MAYBE 69-70 kids total in the whole school...and yeah it goes up to 8th grade. He tells me that they are really nice there which is good. And I help out with the lunch on Thursday to take off some of his tuition (hey they don't make coupons for tuition cuz trust me I'd use them...lol) My baby is growing up...

Disney was a blast!

We had so much fun at Disney World despite some of the rather HOT days...my favorite park was Magic Kingdom. If we ever go back we decided that we would just go there. Epcot was alright, Animal Kingdom wasn't the greatest (it closed REALLY early and it just wasn't that interesting to me) Hollywood Studios came in second as they had lots of characters to meet so the kids liked it. Here are some pics from our trip (look at how pretty Cinderella's castle is at night! I loved that it was all lit up and the fireworks were AWESOME! Downtown Disney was cool for shopping they had some awesome stores and yes even in Disney I scavenged for deals...lol

(And yes my dear Shell the pictures probably look like "tourist" pictures...dork...I know I know...lol)
